This year's annual APM (All People Matter) coat drive by Latoyia Crutcher will get underway to accommodate the thousands of people expected to attend to receive coats just in time for the winter weather. The event will include live music, food, and drinks from more than ten local restaurants.

Nearly a decade ago, Latoyia Crutcher noticed the need for coats by observing so many people in need, APM was launched with the hope of finding out how they might be able to help families that live in the Memphis area fulfil a basic need of coats to stay warm during the winter months.

When asked about what motivates her to keep this cause alive, Latoyia said that she's driven "to give back to the city where I'm from."

This year's coat drive and party, scheduled for December 18, 2022 will continue to be free to the general public. The only thing that the hosts ask is that you donate a coat.
